A journey to the Heart of Being awaits: Exploring Tiruvannamalai, Arununchala and Sri Ramana Ashram.

This is more than a trip; it’s a sacred adventure, a call to something deeper. We’re traveling to the mystical town of Tiruvannamalai, home to the revered Arunachala mountain and Sri Ramana Ashram, where seekers from all over the world come to experience the profound stillness of being.

We’ll venture into the sacred caves of Arunachala, where Ramana Maharshi spent years in deep meditation. Sitting in the cool darkness of Virupaksha and Skandasramam Caves, we’ll connect with the silence that has inspired countless seekers—a silence so deep it speaks louder than words.

As we walk the sacred Girivalam path around Arunachala (14 km), often referred to as the spiritual heart of the world, we will experience the powerful energy that has drawn seekers for centuries. We’ll join in the town’s vibrant annual festival, Karthigai Deepam, where spiritual nomads gather to witness the lighting of an enormous cauldron atop Arunachala. As thousands chant "Arunachala Siva," we will enter a timeless trance, immersed in the mountain’s sacred presence.

At Sri Ramana Ashram, we’ll sit in silent meditation where Ramana Maharshi once shared his wisdom, feeling the presence that dissolves all questions and unveils our true nature. Ramana is still here—his presence is unmistakable, and in deep meditation, you may even sense him visiting or speaking to you. We’ll also sit with the Brahmins (priests) as they chant, engage in sacred ceremonies, and experience the many loving energies of the ashram.

Beyond Ramana’s ashram, we’ll explore a variety of other ashrams and temples, meeting enlightened beings like Mouna Baba, sitting in silence with Sri Ganga Maa, and walking with Toppi Amma, a saint who has walked the Girivalam path nearly every day for decades. We’ll also spend two nights in Vellore, visiting Amma, an Avatar Divine Mother Being, at the breathtaking Golden Temple.

 Through meditation, contemplation, and deep inner exploration, this journey will not only be an external pilgrimage but an inward quest. If you’ve felt the pull toward something greater, this is your sign. The call to discover your true Self is timeless—is this your time?

2 nights in Vellore at the Golden Temple

1 night in Chennai before flying home.

All accommodation is twin share.  For the package of the above including all transfers is $2450. 

Flights, food, visas and insurance are not included but currently costing about another $2500.

The group will consist of myself, Wieteke from the CFB will be our main point of contact during our stay as I'll be holding the spiritual space for the group, which will comprise of ten other individuals.
